FT regular employees are eligible to enroll in CIEE’s 403(b) retirement plan immediately upon hire. Under the plan, employees are able to contribute a portion of their salary on a pre-tax or post-tax basis. Contributions by CIEE based on years of service.

Life and AD&D insurance, valued at twice your base salary (up to $400,000) is employer paid. Additional voluntary life and AD&D insurance can be elected, paid through payroll deduction. Beneficiary designation needs to be completed in ADP.

Short Term Disability – CIEE provides all benefits-eligible employees with Short Term Disability (STD) insurance.  Claims are reviewed by Reliance Standard for medical necessity. Once approved, benefits are paid at 100% of regular salary, with a maximum benefit period of thirteen (13) weeks.

Long Term Disability – CIEE provides all benefits-eligible employees with Long Term Disability (LTD) insurance.  LTD is insured through Reliance Standard. LTD has a 90-day elimination period. Approved claims are then paid directly by Reliance Standard at 60% of covered earnings with a maximum monthly benefit of $20,000.

CIEE purchases an iNext International Protection policy on behalf of all U.S based, full-time employees as a no-cost benefit of employment. The policy is valid for travel outside of the U.S. and extends for a period of 365 days from the date of enrollment. Assuming employment is maintained, the policy is renewed by HR in the anniversary month of your hire.
