Settling In!
Well, the multiple day journey was worth it- we are in Rennes and settling in just fine!
Students are starting to adjust to the new schedule (and the jet lag!) and have begun their immersive experience. After Monday's orientation, students had their first day of class on Tuesday- not to mention their very first excursion! Students took a tour of the historic heart of the city, and used their 5 senses to discover a little bit about the place they will call home for the next 4 weeks. Then, they (very bravely) used their French to ask people on the street what their suggestions were for things to do around the city. All in all, these past few days have been a bit of a whirlwind-but the kids are happy and healthy and are excited to have begun this summer's journey.
