On fait du kayak! Enjoying Rennes via Water
When the sun is blazing and the temperatures rise, there's nothing more refreshing than spending time on or near water. Our students had the perfect opportunity to cool off and have some fun in Rennes, enjoying an afternoon of kayaking on the river with CKCIR Saint-Grégoire.
The CKCIR Saint-Grégoire is more than just a sports club; it's a vibrant community that offers canoe and kayak excursions, lessons for all skill levels, and rentals for anyone looking to enjoy some time on the water. They even host supervised sessions and special classes during school holidays, making it a fantastic spot for both locals and visitors.
Upon arrival, our students were warmly welcomed by enthusiastic young volunteer guides, who quickly taught them the basics of paddling. We then set off on a scenic ride up the river. The adventure didn’t stop there—at our destination, the students got creative, attempting tricks and playing games like a French kayaking version of Sharks and Minnows. The fun continued with a lively game of kayak polo and then later, conversations on the ground with their new French friends.
