Partner with CIEE today to promote study abroad, seize free or paid travel opportunities, design a custom school trip to take your class abroad, and more. The future depends on students who can think across cultures and lead with compassion. And this future starts with you.

What Is the CIEE Global Navigator Movement?

Founded in 2015, the CIEE Global Navigator Movement is transforming secondary education by making academically-aligned study abroad an integral part of the U.S. high school experience.

Through our partnership with globally-focused high schools, we’ve already helped 17,680 students go abroad and awarded over $40 million in high school study abroad scholarships. Through this movement, we have also empowered hundreds of educators to grow their skills alongside their students!

What Our Educators Are Saying

  • “It’s great to see that a teacher in California really has a lot of the same goals as a teacher in Connecticut or a teacher in Maine. And to make these connections through CIEE, meeting teachers from around the United States and finding out that we have so much in common, is really cool!”

Ryan H. | World Language Director | Deering High School

  • “The teachers I’ve met have been super positive and excited and gung-ho to get more students to travel abroad. The quality of CIEE is so strong that it makes us excited to be able to send our students to experience it.”

Chelly B. | Spanish Teacher & World Language Chair | Palm Desert High School

  • “It’s fantastic to keep in touch with multiple educators in other states and keep each other motivated to encourage students to take advantage of these opportunities that CIEE offers them.”

San K. | Assistant Principal | Liberal Arts and Science Academy

  • “It's been incredible meeting other educators who are like-minded and at the same time coming from such diverse backgrounds. We all share a love of students and working with young adolescents and helping them grow!”

Jennifer K. | Dean of Academic Affairs | The Taft School
