Welcome to Argentina Session 2
After a very long flight, whdre many of our students traveled many miles away to arrive here to the beautiful South American country of Argentina.
After an insightful orientation, they enjoyed a delicious lunch of empanadas de pollo (chicken), carne (beef), jamón y queso (ham & cheese), vegetariano (spinanch & cheese) followed by a delicious dessert of alfajores de dulce de leche.
Finally the time came for them to meet their new Argentinian families. There was mixed emotiomsbut all were so excited to meet their new families and the families were equally as excited as well.
After our 1st day of class they took a tour of the city and visited a few barrios (neighborhoods) Boca, Puerto Madero, y Recolato. The rain did not stop our students from learning aboit some of Argentina's history and culture. Again they got to enjoy another the sweet treat of chocolate coveted alfajores.
