A Visit to the Reichstag
On Wednesday of our second week in Berlin, our students visited the iconic glass dome of the Reichtag. Here the students enjoyed views of the entire city despite it being a raining afternoon. This visit took place shortly before the Germany-Hungary game of the European Championships and after the Reichtag a few students headed to the Fan Mile to take part in public viewing of the game which is held in front of the Brandenburger Tor or Brandenburg Gate. Other students interested in the European Chanpionship watched the game with their host families in backyards and living rooms, as the German tradition is to watch the soccer games outside.
