Toulouse Plage
On Monday, we went to Toulouse Plages, which means "Toulouse Beach". If you are familiar with France's geography, you probably know that Toulouse is not located next to a sea or ocean. However, in the summertime, along the banks of the Garonne river, there are many fun, free activities that you can participate in at Toulouse Plages. We enjoyed a hot, sunny summer day and played badminton, table tennis, tug of war, volleyball, and other games. It was a great time to challenge each other to some friendly competition with the river as a beautiful backdrop.
It is hard to believe that we are already past the halfway point in the program and are beginning week 3!
