Reichstag
The Reichstag is the seat of the German Bundestag and a government building. "Dem deutschen Volke" ("to the German people") stands at the entrance and our CIEE group was lucky enough to secure a visit to the terrace and famous dome!
The dome offers 360 views of the city we have all grown to love while walking to the top. Visitors are also able to listen to an audio guide which details some of the amazing things one can see from the dome. If you didn't know, it has been HOT in Germany! The students described the top of the dome like a magnifying glass with the heat. Some wanted to bask in the sunlight, while others were quick to snap a few photos and seek cooler temperatures!
