A Fun Way to Beat the Heat!
Summertime in Toulouse! There are plenty of activities to do outside in this beautiful city. A main feature of Toulouse is the Garonne River which has been an important part of the city for commerce and recreation. This week our students had some fun on the river. One way to beat the heat is to get a little wet, and we did! Students went canoing with their classmates along the river next to the Ferris Wheel. For some, this was a familiar activity. For others, it was their first time. We all rowed at our own pace and even relaxed a bit on the river. Toulouse is a city that has both cultural and outdoor activites - something for everyone. That is what makes the Toulouse program so unique.
