Exploring Sa Rápita
Greetings from Mallorca! Our students are getting settled into their new routines here on the island. Not only have they been immersed in Spanish language and culture but also actively engaging in meaningful activities. Today, we took an excursion to the stunning Sa Ràpita Beach, known for its pristine white sands and crystal-clear waters. However, our visit was not just about enjoying the beautiful scenery; it was also an opportunity to learn about sustainability and make a positive impact on the environment.
Our day began with a discussion on the importance of environmental conservation. We talked about the critical role each of us plays in preserving these natural treasures and then got to work on a beach cleanup.
They walked along the shoreline, collecting litter and debris. It was inspiring to see their dedication and teamwork as they worked together to leave Sa Ràpita Beach even more beautiful than we found it. As we continue our adventures in Mallorca, we look forward to more opportunities to learn, serve, and grow together!
