STUDENT TAKEOVER!! Palma Aquarium by LC Student Betsy Bain
The Palma Aquarium was one of my highlights of this trip! I loved the amount of exhibits that there were in addition to the combination of indoor and outdoor reptiles and fish. One of my favorite parts about the Aquarium was that it was dark and cold (AC WOOHO!) and had plenty of beanbags and other types of seating where we could sit and watch the fish swim around. It was very relaxing. My favorite room was the jellyfish room. There was a huge circular floor to ceiling tank that was lit up purple and around the tank in the dark room were beanbags to sit and watch the see-through jellyfish which was very mesmerizing.
I thought that it was very interesting the different species of fish that they had at the Palma Aquarium in comparison to the aquariums that I have been to in the US. Seeing the fish that were native to Palma were fascinating. Overall, the Palma Aquarium was a wonderful experience and I was very glad that we were able to go!
