Discovering Rennes Through Our 5 Senses
- The city of Rennes, like all of France, is rich with history. With a guide from the tourist office leading us, we walked through the old part of Rennes and learned about the history that makes up this beautiful city. We experienced it through our five senses: the group was divided into teams and did blind tests of products related to Rennes--smelling garlic spice which is used in cooking and touching different items that were used as building materials through the ages are some examples. The students enjoyed the competition to see who could guess them all correctly and they learned a lot about the city. It was a great time!
