A Day Trip to Guadalest and Algar Waterfalls
Our first weekend in Alicante included a day trip to the village of Guadalest and the Algar Waterfalls. Students started the day by boarding our own charter bus for an hour ride to one of the most visited villages in Spain. We enjoyed this Spanish village by strolling through its cobblestoned paths, having lunch in the main plaza, and finally, visiting the Guadalest Castle. After soaking in the beautiful scenery surrounding the castle, we were then off to our next water adventure at the Algar Waterfalls. We were able to end our afternoon by relaxing and taking a dip in the Algar River and its pristine turquoise water.
