Standard Housing: Includes a room in a shared apartment/residence hall or homestay.
- Shared Apartment/Residence Hall: Students stay in single rooms within three- and four-bedroom apartments that feature shared bathrooms. Each apartment is fully furnished, including the bedroom, kitchen, and lounge furniture, and offers complimentary Wi-Fi. The self-catered accommodation provides a variety of common areas, such as BBQ facilities, a game room, lounge, basketball court, and study room, all nestled in shared apartment/residence hall facilities just minutes by foot from the University of Auckland’s main campus and the city center.
- Homestay: Immerse yourself in Auckland’s diverse culture by living with a local host family. Auckland is a multicultural city, and students will stay with families from various nationalities, including Kiwis. Homestays are located within a 45-to-60-minute commute by public transportation to the University of Auckland. You’ll share daily life with your host family while enjoying breakfast and dinner together. Meals
- Shared Apartment/Residence Hall: While meals are not included, students can prepare their own meals in the fully furnished kitchen. Auckland has a vibrant food scene with fresh local fruits, vegetables, and meats readily available. Students can also explore the myriad restaurants in the areas surrounding the residence hall.
