A warm and sunny welcome to Barcelona!
¡Bienvenidos a Barcelona! With CIEE blue shirts on, the adventure began at three major airports on Saturday, June 11: Chicago, Miami and JFK.
After the long plane ride, the students safely made it to Josep Tarradellas Barcelona El Prat Airport. Local CIEE staff was there to welcome the kids to their temporary new home. And the host parents were at the CIEE center eagerly waiting for the students arrive to take them home.
Upon arrival to the Center, each student made their way to their new home to unpack and do what they needed to beat the intense jet lag because the start of our real adventure was just a day away.
