A Trip to Mitte
We are already a few days into Session 1! The students had their first German language courses on Tuesday followed by a tour of Berlin’s city center (Mitte). Students saw the Brandenburger Tor (Brandenburg Gate), Reichstag, and remnants of the Berlin Wall.
After the walking tour, students made their way back to their host families to enjoy dinner and relax for the rest of the evening. On Wednesday, students were split into three different excursions. One group visited Schloss Charlottenburg (Palace) while the other two groups were split between the Berlinische Gallerie (modern Art) and the Jüdisches Museum (Jewish Museum).
What’s next? Students will be able to enjoy a relaxing day in the park after class on Thursday. We can’t believe the first week is already halfway over !
