The Sound of the Beat!
One of our first lessons in Japan, was the drums. Students gathered around large drums in pairs and were taught several drumming pieces. Students had to listen to one another, maintain the same pace, and the same intensity. They learned about the different size drums and their purposes. Students were given a chance to test their skills and those brave enough got to try out the large drums.
