Universal Studios Japan
Thrills were had by all when we visited Universal Studios Japan. Students were so excited to experience the thrills at the amusement park. From Super Nintendo World to Jurassic Park, students road the interactive rides and screamed when flying on their stomachs flipping upside down. Some students road their favorite ride over and over until their last minutes in the park.
The most unique experience for the park was the Summer Splash Parade. Students had the option to purchase water guns or line up on the sideline to be drenched by roof top hoses, floats with spraying mechanisms, and performers. Students welcomed the refreshing water before they headed to their next ride.
On the way back to the hotel, students shared how they could incorporate different elements, assets, or movements based on their experiences at the park. It was invigorating to hear all the excitement about their unique development for their games.
