A Purr-fect Friday Afternoon at a Czat Czafe
What do you do when you're thousands of miles away from your furry friend and you miss them? Head to your closest cat cafe, of course!
Cat cafes first sprung up in Japan but have quickly made an international splash, and Prague is no exception. After two weeks of intense classes, our Global Navigators wanted a chance to unwind and cuddle with some four-legged friends, so we headed to Kovarna Kocici (Czech for "cat cafe") in the northern part of the city.
About a dozen cats greeted us -- much more enthusiastically after we were given a bag of treats to distribute to them!
Humans got treats too -- we were able to order strawberry and lemon cheesecakes, coffee, tea, and hot chocolate.
After 13 days of cathedrals, museums, castles, and more, our visit to the cat cafe didn't exactly seem like high culture, but it was cool to see that Czechs a just like us when it comes to loving animals!
