Indeed, it Takes Two To Tango|
Our students had the magnificent opportunity to experience the passion and delight of the world famous Argentinian Tango and indulge in delicious Empanadas !! For their meriendas, the students were first treated to the traditional empanadas, a delicious pastry filled with different fillings such as ,carne ( grass fed ground beef) chicken, cheese and ham and cheese. Once bellies were joyfully filled, they learned about the history of the Tango music, it’s instruments and the roots of its inception within the diverse immigrant port community of turn of the century Buenos Aires. Then Off they went to be instructed by the professional Tango dancers, they first watched in awe the beauty of the dance as the instructors danced for them. Then it was their turn and indeed it “ takes two to Tango” as they partnered up with each other to experience the magic and beauty of the dance, while giggling nervously at each other. They had a blast, and as the class progressed so did their confidence.
