Getting the Ball Rolling: Building Knowledge and Friendships in Singapore
The young entrepreneurs have gotten to work! The students spent Wednesday morning exploring the businesses at Kampong Glam. They went shop to shop to interview business owners about their journeys. Each team left this experience with key takeaways, like how to overcome and persevere through challenges, how to make your business standout, and how to deliver value to consumers. Later in the classroom, each team presented about their findings. In addition, the students began their group projects where they create their own social enterprises and initiatives. The following day we had our first lesson in Chinese and interviewed entrepreneurs!
In their down time, students have been trying new restaurants, hanging out in the garden, and exploring the Singapore life. Each day here, memories are being made and friendships are blossoming. This bright group of students continues to shine and show their colors.
