Fun on the water
Today was gorgeous and sunny. We had a great class with a guest speaker, teaching us about Amsterdam as a Smart City. Followed by an amazing linch at the Foodhallen, a renovated tram car station. Lots of variety in food from all over the world.
Amsterdam is extremely bike/walk and public transportation friendly. We travel by foot or tram to our classes and various excursions. Today's excursion (after our delicious meal), we tram/walked to a canal and spent a few hours floating on a boat and soaking in the sun through the famous canals of this city. It is a great way to experience Amsterdam. Floating past beautiful brick and wooden buildings, numerous bridges and famous sites...
