Friends Forever

One of the greatest things about traveling is the friendships one makes along the way. It is fascinating to see the bonds the students have made. One would think that these students have been friends forever and that they came on the trip together. After talking to one of my students, she told me that the friends she has made here are nothing like the ones she has back home, but that she has connected with them extremely well and is happy to be going on this journey with them. Once the program ends each student will go back to their home state but they will always have the memories they have shared with their new friends here in Madrid; and with today's technology, they have the accessibility to remain in touch even if they are hundreds of miles apart. This way they can remain lifelong friends.
