El Alcázar
We had the perfect morning to visit the Alcázar. The sky was overcast and the breeze offered sweet relief from the strong Andalusian sun. Our guide took us on a tour through the history of this impressive fortified palace and it’s gardens, a history that dates back to the 8th century BC. Students enjoyed hearing about the families that once resided here, taking photos of the intricate details throughout the palace, and getting lost in the garden´s labyrinth.
