Discover the Magic of La Pedrera
The Global Explores took a wonderful adventure at La Pedrera. The architectural masterpiece in the heart of Barcelona! The students explored the beautiful city of Gracia and admired the wonderful architecture of Gaudi. The students had a chance to experience Gaudi’s genius up close and personal.
La Pedrera was completed in 1912 and is a prime example of Gaudi’s distinctive style, characterized by its undulating stone facade, wrought iron balconies, and organic forms. The students enjoyed the innovative structure and soaked the sun at the whimsical rooftop terrace adorned with surreal chimneys. La Pedrera is a UNESCO World Heritage site and a symbol of Catalan modernism.
