Mediterranean Marine Ecosystems & Sustainability

We’re excited to share what an amazing day we had here in Palma de Mallorca! Today was all about discovering the wonders of Cala Romana, a beautiful coastal gem that perfectly blended learning and leisure.

Our day kicked off with a scenic charter bus ride to Cala Romana. Once there, we couldn’t wait to get our feet wet—literally! Armed with snorkeling gear, our students dove into the crystal-clear waters, ready to explore the rich marine life beneath the surface.

Our budding marine biologists were busy noting down the different species they encountered, putting their observational skills to the test. It gave them the opportunity to see the ecosystems they’ve been learning about come to life right before their eyes.

After an exciting morning of marine exploration, we took some time to relax and enjoy the beautiful beach.

Students had free time to wander through the charming beach town. They explored local shops, enjoyed delicious food at nearby restaurants, and soaked up the laid-back Mediterranean vibe. Other students decided to stay on the beach and tan, or play a game of volleyball. It was great to see students not only learning together but building friendships as well.
