An afternoon at Palma Aquarium
Greetings from sunny Palma de Mallorca! Our students in the Marine Ecosystems and Sustainability in Spanish (LC Topic) program have had an incredible start to the week, blending hands-on learning with a touch of adventure.
On Monday, after an engaging morning of classes, we embarked on an exciting excursion to the Palma Aquarium. The aquarium, known for its extensive collection of marine life, provided our students with a unique opportunity to see up close the diverse ecosystems they’ve been studying. They marveled at the colorful coral reefs, learned about the importance of marine conservation, and even got to see sharks, octopuses, and various species of fish in their natural habitats. The experience truly brought their classroom lessons to life, sparking curiosity and deepening their understanding of marine biology and sustainability.
Following the educational visit, we headed to the beautiful Can Pastilla beach for some well-deserved relaxation and fun in the sun. The students enjoyed swimming in the crystal-clear waters of the Mediterranean and playing beach volleyball. It was wonderful to see them unwind in such a picturesque setting.
We are proud of the enthusiasm and engagement our students have shown and look forward to more exciting adventures. Stay tuned for more updates from Palma de Mallorca!
