Within a mere week our global navigators have made Amsterdam home with their new friends. There have been guided museum visits, joyous tram rides escaping the Dutch rain, fun fashion purchases, boat tours, and even windmills have made an appearance in our adventures.

Despite the rain our students have come up with ways not only to stay warm, but to stay dry. Quickly we've been acclimating from the temperamental nature of Dutch weather, where when one minute a sunny sky can turn into a torrential downpour.

Some of our students have opted for more fashionable rain gear rather than functional, though. Speaking of fashion, during our visit to the Almere Upcycle Centerum, students were able to not only learn all about sustainable initiatives in the center, but also sport some new stylish vests.

We had some great museum visits and a trip to Zaanse Schans, a recreated traditional Dutch town with functional windmills that our global navigators got to explore. But most of all, our students fascination has landed on...clogs. Stay tuned for more blogs to come as our adventure in Amsterdam continues!
