Class Time! Smart Cities and Sustainability

Fun and educational! We have learned so much about Amsterdam as a Smart City. Lots for us to emulate. People ride bikes, use trams, and just walk to anywhere they want to go. We studied the Doughnut Theory, where everyone benefits. Optimization, to see how many people/organizations can work to together to accomplish one project.
We learned about Upcycling vs. Recycling. Turning recycled items into new usable items. For instance, turning propane tanks into light fixtures.
Amsterdam is a model for many other countries. Various organizations all over the world visit Amsterdam and the Netherlands to see how they are managing to be so successful with their sustainability and Smart City Success Story!
