Back to Beijing
Today marked the last day the Discoverers spent in Tianjin. We took a quick look at the Shi Family Compound, a beautiful complex of historic architecture on the outskirts of Tianjin, before heading to the train station. The Shi family is responsible for the Grand Canal, a canal in China that is 16 times larger than the Panema canal, according to our tour guide. While waiting for the high speed train, the students were great sports. They each got to know a few of the LC students.
Tomorrow begins the last week of our trip. Beijing, here we come!
