Au revoir Session I, Bienvenu Session II
It was a big weekend here in Toulouse as we said good-bye to our Session I group on Friday with a pot de départ catered by Loma, the favorite bakery of many of the students. Some met up with family members to extend their stay in France while some went back to the US to catch up with friends and family. Everyone in the group, however, will be missed in Toulouse!
On Saturday, Session II students began their voyage to Toulouse and on Sunday they arrived and had their first dinner with their host families. We are currently in the middle of orientation and the first day of French classes. We're excited to welcome this new group and see how they grow in both French and as people!
