The adventure begins!
The excitement grew in the airport as students arrived from all over the country to meet each other. We only had a few hours to meet before departure, but students shared some laughs and experiences right away. After a long flight, we arrived tired but safely in Buenos Aires to be greeted by staff. After some orientation, a quick walk around the city, and games, students met their host families and got some rest.
Highlights so far have included beautiful, warm weather for winter, community conversations in the world's largest bookstore, learning each student's level, and meeting teachers. This week's focus is learning the common routes students will travel to school, and how to safely navigate in the subway and busses.
Please stay tuned! Lots of pictures tomorrow!
