Orientation In Berlin
Today was a little bit of a hectic day. I had a Berlin city tour starting at 9:30 and it ended up raining for all of it. It was not bad though! We stopped and got off at the East Wall Gallery, the Brandenburg Gate, the Memorial to the Murdered Jews of Europe, and Museum Island. It was very interesting to get an overview of Berlin's history and the history of Germany. I feel that people sometimes forget how young of a country Germany really is. After the city, I managed to snag a seat my the fire to warm up and dry off. Overall, it was a good first day in Berlin!
