Fall 2017 Issue II: Vienna Trip
The beautiful capital of Austria has become a home for five CIEE Global Architecture and Design students in the beginning of October. Leaving early in the morning on Friday, students had an opportunity to discover lots of cultural heritage and visit many places that have been opened during Vienna Museum Night.
Vienna itself is a truly architectural gem. Its rich history assited to foundation of important sites such as Schonbrunn Palace (home of the famous princess Sissi), Hofburg Palace or for example Zaha Hadid’s library of University of Economics and Business. All of these places have been a part of the visit and enriched students’ cultural and architectural knowledge.
Besides feeding one’s eyes, Global Architecture and Design students have tasted a traditional Austrian meals such as Viennese Schnitzel or for example Sacher Tarte (delicious chocolate cake with sour cream).
