A weekend to remember in Ariège!
Over the weekend the Aerospace group had an overnight trip to Ariège.
On Saturday morning we departed and took a bus to Accrobranche Parc d'Orlu ropes course among the Pyrenees mountain range. The students had a blast there and excelled at team-building and personal development throughout the course. After the course the students were introduced to the lounge that they would be staying at for the night and had the opportunity to chat with their roommates. We had a family styled dinner and the students enjoyed the ammentites of the lodge which included ping-pong and a swimming pool.
Sunday was a very busy day full of adventure. We started the morning at the Parc de la Préhistoire where the students were able to immerse themselves into animation workshops teaching them how life was over 16,000 years ago. We then had lunch and headed to Grotte de Lombrives and participated in a guided tour of the cave. The students enjoyed learning about the mythological stories that locals had created about it.
