Touring Prague
Our tour of Prague began near the top of Vyeshard, overlooking the city of Prague. We next entered Gorlice, a historical landmark with passages leading to where the original statues of Charles Bridge are kept, as well as a location where a Mission Impossible movie was filmed! Students enjoyed the walking through the cold dark tunnels and learning about various uses for the fortress throughout Prague's history. In addition to the Zizkov television tower once used by the communist regime to block certain signals, students visited the astronomical clock, a medieval timepiece built in 1410.
There is still so much to see and learn in Prague, we're very excited for what's to come!
