Toulouse: La ville rose
For these French students, staying a month in Toulouse to learn the language first hand is a dream come true.
Toulouse is a beautiful city rich in history, culture, and architecture. It is known as the pink city because of the pink color of the bricks used to construct many of the buildings in the 15th and 16th centuries. It is the 4th largest city in France in the region of Occitanie. You will find street names in both French and the traditional Occitane languages.
When the students aren't sitting in their 3 hour language and culture class with the local French teachers, they are exploring the city and interacting with the locals. This truly allows them to express themselves in French while improving their listening comprehension skills.
