Takeaways From Demark
Written and published by: Vedha Reddy
Over these past few weeks in Copenhagen I’ve learned so much. My love for walkable cities has grown tremendously over the past few weeks. One of my favorite things we’ve done is walking around the city with no plan, the spontaneity of the city is definitely something I’ve come to enjoy. The overnight trip to Samsø was definitely a highlight, being able to see a new side of the country along with new methods of sustainability was very eye opening. We’ve had opportunities to talk with locals, go to cooking classes and many danish language classes. Additionally I’ve gained irreplaceable friendships that will last a lifetime. The last few days have been very bittersweet although I miss home, I’ve fallen in love with almost every aspect of Denmark's environment and culture.
