Sunday Fun and Fireworks
Aerospace engineering participants continued to enjoy the weekend on Sunday, where they had free time in the morning to sleep in, grab brunch or go and do their laundry.
In the afternoon participants chose to go to one of two places. Half the group went to a large local pool to beat the heat and enjoy the sunshine. The other half went to a park with a beautiful Japanese garden where they read, napped or got ice cream.
In the evening students got to participate in a special event since it was the national Bastile Day holiday, July 14. We went to a local fireworks show at the park with music and food and watched a colorful display of fireworks. It was a late night but everyone agreed it was worth it!
