Student Post: Asia's First Week
If this week has taught me anything, it has taught me a lot about myself, my surroundings, and French! In class, I learned a lot about describing people and places. We even did a small project to sum it all up. It can be a little stressful at times, but we always have someone to lean on if we need help!
We also did tours, made treats, and even did a scavenger hunt. I think the baking was my favorite part! It was very fun to make the sablé breton.
I learned a lot from my host family too. Talking to them helps me improve my speaking skills and learn more about them. I love when they take me places. My host dad has a beautiful garden. It’s my favorite place to go so far!
I love this city so much! I might consider living here in the future. The amount of places to go, transportation, and culture make it an amazing place to be in. I’m very happy that I’m here and I can’t wait to learn more!
