During our weekend excursion, we took a boat ride through mangroves and out into the ocean. On our ride, we got to listen and dance to music while taking in the beautiful views that Monte Cristi had to offer. We also went to an island to swim, relax and eat/drink coconuts. With googles, we were able to see the many cool shells and sea creatures living beneath the baby blue water. -Hannah N.
