Star Students!
During week one, students start learning to speak the local Moroccan dialect, Darija and practice with our staff and locals. They are also learning the Arabic alphabet. They are mastering new sounds that we don't have in English! Everyone is picking up so quickly and making great progress in their language proficiencies! You can see them becoming more confident each day!
On Tuesday we had a tour of Rabat in the afternoon for our cultural excursion. We visited the Hassan Tower, the Royal Palace, Chellah and the Kasbah. Our guides explained the history of these places and their signficance to the culture.
Students are starting to get their bearings and learn how to get around the city. Stay tuned for more adventures in Rabat!!!
