Prague by Pedal Boat
Students got a whole new perspective of the city on Monday afternoon when the group rented pedal boats! We cruised around the Vltava River and took in Prague's beautiful architecture, away from the hustle of the streets and the crowded shops.
Art classes have been rigorous and demanding (and very rewarding!), so students loved the chance to unwind in perfect weather with friends. It's impossible not to feel relaxed when you're floating on a giant swan in the Czech sunshine!
The chance to slow down also provided time to really appreciate some of Prague's most beautiful features. We enjoyed views from the water of:
- Charles Bridge
- The National Theater
- The Dancing House
- Kampa Island
- A river otter!
Many students topped off the outing with delicious gelato and a stroll by the river. We chatted with the Czech buddies who attended the activity with us, and arrived back at the dorms feeling refreshed and ready to take on the rest of the week!
