Paris Plages
In July some of the quais of the Seine are transformed into "beaches" for the Parisians who are not able to leave the city for vacation. Sand, lounge chairs, beach umbrellas are brought in to make it feel "beachy". There are many activities; baby foot, beach volleyball, arts and crafts, biking, strolling along the river, cooling off with a drink at one of the cafés set up along the Seine. Some of our students enjoyed a game of beach volleyball against some of the locals.
