Page 2 - Tour of Rabat
Today, our students had their first Arabic lesson in Darija, the Moroccan dialect. They learned common greetings and introducing themselves. After the lesson they went into the community and had supervised conversations with locals and took pictures for their first week's project. After lunch, they went on a tour around three historical areas in Rabat, Chellah, Hassan Tower, and Oudaya, led by history Professor, Hazim Azghari. After our guided tour, the students had their first reflection circle discussion. They shared their first impressions of their visit and what they observed culturally.
