Hello, my name is Tamara Haddad, and I am a program leader for the Arabic Language and Culture Summer Abroad in Rabat, Morocco. I currently teach IB Arabic language at Trinity and Bell high schools in the Hurst-Euless-Bedford ISD in Bedford, Texas, where I have been a teacher for 22 years and taught ESL at the elementary level for 11 years prior to helping establish the Arabic program. I have a B.A. in French and English and a M.Ed. in Reading and ESL.. I also teach an Arabic class at Texas Christian University in the evening. I am an active member of a number of educational associations and organizations and has participated in several language conferences on the local, state and national levels. I am a native of Jordan and moved to the United States in 1987, where I have resided in Bedford, Texas with my husband and two sons. I have many hobbies and love to do a lot of things, but my passion is traveling and learning about the world firsthand. I'm also a music lover and enjoy listening to audio books.
