Morocco Book - Page 3 - Making Learning Fun
The past two days our students were immersed in learning in so many fun and engaging ways. In class they learned more words and expressions to introduce themsleves, like age and where they live. They were introduced to Arabic letters and the writing system, as well as numbers. They were able to hold a meaningful conversation in class as well as in the community. It was truly exciting to hear them speak in Darija and communicate with locals, meeting new people, buying ice cream, exchanging money, and ordering food all on their own!!
At home with their host families was the real fun! They got to visit the neighborhood shops and establishments, they learned how to make Moroccan tea, and they learned how to make delcious Moroccan Tagines.
