Montjuic y más
Today we had a respite from the Spanish sun as we traversed to Montjuic, a hillside location in Barcelona. Students learned about the rich culture and history of the area. Montjuic was the location of the 1929 World's Fair, and many of the buildings constructed for the event are still there today, most serving as museums that display the art of Catalunia. Students were also given the opportunity to visit the Olympic Village, the site of the 1992 Summer Games.
