Spices: This is a group of spices commonly used in traditional Korean dishes. They are all made from different things such as crushed beans.
Grains: Traditional Korean Cuisine also uses many grains and nuts. This is a picture of the nuts and beans that are most common in Korean dishes.
Salts and Beans: There are also very specific salts that are commonly used to flavor many Korean Foods. There are also a multitude of beans that can be found in many Korean dishes. Beans can have a large spectrum if flavors and can be used for any portion of any meal.
Kimchi storage: In the past, people would store their ceramic kimchi storage vases under ground so as to maintain the same temperature year round. By burying the container, the kimchi would not freeze over or be exposed to too much heat. This was the original "kimchi fridge"
Seasonal foods: Certain foods are eaten during certain times of the year. Here you can see the foods organized by season. You can see all four seasons oeginized by columns. Going Spring, Summer, Autumn, and Winter (from left to right).
