Local Creations from La Glânerie & Terre de Pastel
This week, students tapped into their creative sides during two unique visits.
One visit included a tour of La Glânerie, which is an upcycling resource center and store. The students had the chance to take part in this mission firsthand when they used material from discarded advertisement posters and crafted their own wallets.
The second visit involved exploring the history and technique of making blue dye from the pastel plant at Terre de Pastel. Everyone designed and dyed a tote bag to take home!
